Dr. Jeff Williams serves as the Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) at North Greenville University, where he bridges academics and athletics to support the holistic development of NGU’s student-athletes. As an advocate for academic integrity, student-athlete well-being, and NCAA compliance, Dr. Williams works closely with coaches, administrators, and faculty to ensure student-athletes thrive both in the classroom and in competition.
In addition to his role as FAR, Dr. Williams is the chair of the Health Science Department and a professor, specializing in kinesiology, strength and conditioning, and sports medicine. With a background in physical therapy, he is passionate about injury prevention, performance optimization, and mentoring future health professionals.
Dr. Williams enjoys supporting NGU athletics alongside his family, often bringing his three boys to games and events to cheer on Trailblazer student-athletes. Outside of the classroom and athletic realm, he is an avid outdoorsman, surfer, and advocate for lifelong health and fitness.
