After scoring the tying goal in the 79th minute, the North Greenville Crusaders ultimately fell to the Emmanuel Lions with a final score of 2-1 this evening in Franklin Springs, Georgia. The Crusaders led the night in shots 22-16 and dominated in shots on goal 12-3. However, two of Emmanuel's three shots on goal would result in goals and the Lions would record 11 saves to hang on for the win. 

Emmanuel took the lead in the first half with a goal in the 18th minute. The score would remain the same until the 79th minute when Renan Macuglia scored his fourth goal of the season with an assist by Ryan Blalock. With just over two minutes left, the Lions would reclaim the lead and would hang on for the win.

Renan Macuglia posted 3 shots and a goal. Florian Schütt led both teams with 4 total shots and 3 shots on goal. Kalvin Semeda also recorded 3 shots with 1 on goal.

North Greenville will face the Erskine Flying Fleet on Tuesday, October 7th in Due West, South Carolina.
