GAMEDAY CENTRAL: Crusaders Gearing Up for Undefeated #13 Delta State

Tigerville – Saturday is the first of consecutive home games for the Crusaders who return home to host Delta State at 1 PM on Saturday.

North Greenville looks to rebound this week after falling to West Florida by a field goal. The Crusaders led midway through the fourth quarter but were outscored 24 – 8 in the final frame. The Argos melted the clock and kicked a 36 – yard field goal, narrowly escaping the upset minded NGU.

Delta State might be the hottest team in the Gulf South as the only undefeated team in the league. The Statesman have beaten a pair of nationally ranked teams including West Florida in an overtime thriller two weeks ago. Last weekend the 13th ranked Blazers of Valdosta State were run out of Mississippi when DSU improved to 2 – 0 in league play with a 70 – 31 win.
