In spite of a career-high performance by
Joe Conley, the North Greenville Crusaders ultimately fell to the Emmanuel College Lions with a final score of 89-73 in Franklin Springs, Georgia. The Crusaders put together a solid offensive performance overall, recording a 46.3 field goal percentage for the game. However, the Lions, who are currently undefeated in conference play, had another night to remember with an even more impressive 55.9 percentage from the field, which included a 60.71 percentage in the first half. NGU trailed by just two at halftime, but were limited from the three point line, making one and attempting just two shots from behind the perimeter for the second half. Emmanuel also struggled from three point range, but a lack of turnovers allowed the Lions to make nearly as many shots as the Crusaders attempted in the second half. Conley's 36 point performance ties him for 5th place in program history for most points scored in a single game.
